The international IMPETUS Africa Conference on "Global Change in Africa - Projections, Mitigation and Adaptation" will be held from June 2nd to 5th 2009 at the University of Cologne. The conference will be held at the University of Cologne campus. Cologne offers a variety of accommodation ranging from simple hostels to convenient hotels at a price from 30 € to 150 € per night. In early summer, Cologne is a very attractive tourist destination with a rich cultural variety and many tourist attractions – among which is the famous gothic cathedral, a UNESCO world heritage.
