Climate Change: If there is no adaptation, there will be no Copenhagen

National leaders and other participants meeting at this year’s World Economic Forum on Africa in Cape Town have called for greater emphasis on adaption to climate change. More than 900 participants from 50 countries participated in the 19th World Economic Forum on Africa in Cape Town from 10 to 12 June 2009 under the theme Implications of the Global Economic Crisis for Africa.
